Pricing
Our cakes start at just $6.75 per serving for basic buttercream designs and $7.50 for basic rolled fondant designs. Cupcakes start at $3.50 each in quantities of 12 or more!
While we do charge extra for more complicated designs, we don't charge extra for standard flavors or fillings on our menu and we don't charge extra to have a different flavor on each tier.
Cake tasting fee
For cakes priced over $300, we don't charge for our standard cake tastings and consultations. Each complimentary tasting includes our 4 most popular flavor and filling combinations.
For cakes priced under $300 you can still schedule a 1 hour consultation for $35, or you are welcome send pictures and ideas to us on our contact page and we would be happy to provide a quote for your design and arrange for you to stop by the shop and pick up a tasting sample box! You can estimate a basic cake cost by multiplying the number of guests by $6.00 per serving.
Delivery
We offer delivery in Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, Scottsdale and the surrounding area, within 15 miles of our Gilbert shop. Unfortunately we aren’t able to offer delivery service to the west valley, Florence, Casa Grande, Cave Creek, Queen Creek and other locations further than 15 miles from our Gilbert shop.
During the months of February, March, April, May, September, October, & November our minimum order for cakes being delivered is $675 excluding tax and delivery. Delivery and setup starts at just $65!
The rest of the year, our minimum order for cakes being delivered is $350 excluding tax and delivery.
Quotes
We are always happy to provide price quotes but please keep in mind that a price quote or even a tasting/consultation does not guarantee your date has been held. We can only hold a date and guarantee our ability to provide a cake once we have received your deposit*.
*For all of our couples with packages at our venue partners, your venue has already secured your date with us. :)
Cancellation or Postponements
If for any reason you need to postpone your wedding or event, please contact Piece of Cake Desserts, LLC. immediately. Your deposit will be held until the new date arrives. If you need to cancel your order entirely there are certain refund policies that we follow. If the cancellation is up to 45 days in advance of your wedding/event date, we will refund 100% of your deposit. From 15 to 44 days, you will receive a 50% refund of your deposit. Inside of 15 days, we cannot accept cancellation and cannot offer a refund. The deposit amount is equal to 50% of the total cake cost, with the remaining balance due 14 days prior to the wedding/event.
Pick up orders and refunds
We take great care in preparing each order and want every customer to be happy with their cake or dessert. Because our products are custom-made and perishable, we ask that all pickup orders be inspected at the time of pickup.
At pickup, you or your designated pickup person will have the opportunity to review the order, including the design, colors, wording, size, and overall appearance. Once the order has been reviewed, accepted, and leaves our shop, we are unable to offer refunds, credits, or redesigns for issues that were visible or reasonably noticeable at the time of pickup.
This includes, but is not limited to, concerns about color shade, decoration style, shape, spelling, design details, or overall appearance after the order has been accepted.
That said, we understand that some concerns may not be visible until the cake is served. If there is an internal quality issue, such as the wrong flavor, incorrect filling, or a problem with freshness or texture, please contact us as soon as possible. We may request photos and/or that the remaining product be returned so we can properly review the concern. When a verified internal issue has occurred, we will work with you on an appropriate resolution, which may include a partial refund, store credit, replacement, or other remedy at our discretion.
Because cakes are food products and are often consumed quickly, concerns must be reported within 24 hours of pickup.
Thank you for understanding that pickup acceptance helps us confirm the order was completed correctly before it leaves our care, while still allowing us to address genuine quality issues that could not have been seen at pickup.
